2015 FALL INDOOR BOX LACROSSE

Box lacrosse is a fast paced 6v6 exciting arena game that improves your stick skills dramatically. With a smaller field and off the wall play, this league is sure to improve any individual’s fundamental skills and endurance. Field players play offense and defense improving the understanding of game. Without the benefit of a long pole, you must stay tight on your man while defending. Only short sticks are used.

The League format will consist ideally of 8 player rosters. Practices will be held on Mondays or Tuesdays and there will be six Saturday games as well as an end of season tournament. All games will be played at the YMCA Soccer Complex. Practices will be led by Huntingdon College Lacrosse coaches or players. We will have three Divisions for boys and girls – Bantoms (2, 3, 4 graders), Juniors (5, 6, 7 graders), Seniors (8+). Contact Manny Sanchez or Andrew Goldman at 334.396.9754.

2015 SUMMER LACROSSE 7V7

A fun opportunity to participate and learn the proper skills and fundamentals of Lacrosse. Provided in an environment that promotes sportsmanship, camaraderie and teamwork. Three different divisions: Bantoms (2,3,4 graders), Juniors (5,6,7 graders) and Seniors (8+ graders). YMCA will not provide equipment. A limited amount of lacrosse sticks will be available to check out for games and practices.

LACROSSE CLINIC

No experience or equipment is required– sticks will be provided for all, to learn the rules and skills of lacrosse in a fun, non-contact environment. The clinic will cover the necessary skills for Lacrosse and scrimmages will be conducted. Open to girls and boys 2nd through 12th grade. This clinic will be lead by the Huntingdon College Men’s Lacrosse Head Coach Andrew Carey and assisted by his collegiate players.
